Auto Injury Massage & PIP Claims
If you’ve been in a car accident, your body may feel the impact days or even weeks later. Neck pain, headaches, back pain, shoulder tension, jaw pain, and general soreness are common after auto accidents, even when the crash felt minor at the time.
At A/C Bodywork and Massage, I offer therapeutic massage for clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents and accept PIP claims for auto accidents only.
-
PIP stands for Personal Injury Protection. It is a type of auto insurance coverage that may help pay for medical care after a car accident, including massage therapy when it is medically appropriate and authorized.
Every claim is different, so benefits must be verified before your first appointment.

Most PIP claims require a referral or prescription for massage therapy from your physician, chiropractor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. Requirements vary by insurance company, so I'll help guide you through what's needed for your specific claim.
-
At this time, I bill PIP claims for auto accidents only. I do not bill private health insurance or Medicare.
If you're paying out of pocket, I can provide a superbill upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider regarding your specific benefits.

The sooner you're evaluated by your healthcare provider and cleared for massage therapy, the better. Even low-speed collisions can cause injuries that don't fully appear until days later. Early treatment may help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support a smoother recovery.

Yes! I accept both HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards for eligible services. Because every plan is different, I recommend checking with your HSA or FSA administrator if you're unsure about your coverage.
Please Contact me before booking so I can verify your claim.
